This project consisted of replacing 2 existing Scroll Chillers with 3 new Steam Absorption Chillers while keeping the building’s Chilled Water System online. With the proper planning and coordination, the switchover from the older, inefficient Scroll Chillers to the new, efficient Steam Absorption Chillers went smoothly and without interruption of service. The job called for a detailed sequence of operation, systematic interlocks and third-party integration. Also, we installed controls for an additional 3 Cooling Towers and other miscellaneous controls as well as monitoring of equipment such as Electrical Room and Kitchen Exhaust Fans, Computer Room Air Conditioners, and Domestic Hot Water System Alarms. On the Delta Controls Enteliweb Building Management System, the user can control and monitor their entire Chilled Water Plant and Condenser Water System. The chilled water services the HVAC and refrigeration in the entire hotel. The Carlyle Hotel will be saving a lot of money on electrical costs and be able to better control and monitor this critical system.
One City Place is a high-end residential building in the heart of White Plains, NY. The goal of the project was a Building Management System Upgrade, AHU and Exhaust Fan balancing and control, and Energy Meter installing and monitoring. This project was an energy conservation project thus through grants, rebates, and incentives, the owners were able to pay for most of the project without dipping into their own pockets. With all the systems tied into the new Building Management System, using Enteliweb Software and Kaizen Analytics, we created a dashboard for the users to monitor, control, and benchmark their building’s HVAC operations.
This project was an entire building infrastructure buildout with potential use for office space and store fronts. We installed a new Delta Enteliweb Building Management System which monitors and controls 3 Dry Cooler Systems, a Hot Water System, 7 VAV Air Handlers, 8 Constant Volume Heat Pumps, Toilet Exhausts, General Exhausts, and Smoke Purge Ventilation. We also monitor other building equipment such as Domestic Water and Fire Alarm System points. We integrated with Carrier BACnet controllers. Eventually, tenants started leasing space and the floors started getting fit out. We integrated all the new tenant equipment with the Base Building Management System and gave tenants access to only their devices and equipment for monitoring, control, alarming and scheduling. The building is almost completely full of new comfortable tenants.
